Because making a tool this way takes considerably longer. We spend extra machining time CNC deep engraving the protractor scales and making recessed pockets for the rulers. So they won't fade from workpiece contact. It's made from high-quality T6 aluminium known for its strength and anti-corrosion properties in outdoor conditions. We research, design and engineer all of our tools in-house from our UK workshop. Which is why we can proudly offer a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.
The PRO version is built to last even longer. Its scales are deep-engraved and recessed, so the markings won’t wear off even with regular use. We also added a handy double side fence rule to the PRO model.
If you want a tough, fixed-fence square for all sorts of layout work, go with the PRO. If you do a lot of repeat cuts and like to lock in angles, one of the adjustable RSA models might suit you better.
Each G-Rafter 7 PRO is CNC-machined to extremely tight tolerances - we’re talking microns. It’s designed for true right angles and reliable layout, time after time.
